Golden Tulip Hotel Central - 's-Hertogenbosch (Den Bosch)

Very friendly reception and also otherwise good service

Great location in the heart of Herzogenbusch. Parking garage directly opposite. Very warm welcome, room completely quiet. Nice fitness area on the 7th floor above the roofs of the city.

Service in the restaurant a little inattentive - talked a lot at other tables and always missed some things.

No shower only a bathtub . The view of the backyard was terrible. No wardrobe in the room

The location is great. The centre is only 2 minutes walk away.

Sorry, the shower wasn't so great. The water pressure was much too weak and the window was leaking a bit.

I stay at this hotel when I visit 's Hertogenbosch because of really central location.

Internet at the Lobby was out of service and 2 attempts to use it have not lead to success. Air-conditionning was switched on in my room only after my call to the reception. The price this time was too high - 147,50 for small single room without breakfast, and windows went to interior yard and kitchen was under me, where the staff discussed loudly smth the whole morning. So, I hope for better opportunities if stay here next time.

The staff were excellent - friendly, efficient and helpful. The accommodation was large, clean and had everything we needed. Food and drinks were to a high standard.

Big and cool enough room with tea/coffee making equipment and suitable soundproofing, and exceptionally comfortable bed.

The parking facilities are ridiculously small. The ground floor in the hotel smells of vomit. I kid you not. The rooms are noisy and out-dated. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, ever.

Truly enjoyed my really really nice stay in very pleasant Dutch town. Got double room with very comfortable beds, even with pieces of art, as for instance as expected. The breakfast selection was rich and amazing for many options of all standard versions. The location was great and unbeatable - close to nice restaurants and bars, Name and Nature and the very centre. I ate at the a la carte restaurant near the hotel. The staff was incredibly kind and exceptionally nice - I would like to stay there on the next trip.

The noise levels from street events can be unbearable!!! Poor bathroom features like missing towel hooks make things inconvenient!!! Signage around the hotel is confusing!!!

My stay at the Golden Tulip Hotel Central in Den Bosch, Netherlands was excellent as were the previous two stays that I had at the hotel. From the first time I entered this hotel in 2008, the staff were pleasant, cordial, friendly and approachable. What impressed me immediately were their ability to notice even the smallest things that a guest needed. For example, I commented that it looked like rain. The front desk person said that she did not want me to get wet and asked if I was aware that there was a basket of umbrellas available for guests to use. Other details that this hotel has that keeps me returning are: 1) the fresh apples at the front reception for guests to enjoy, 2) the great breakfast buffet with wonderful fresh orange juice, 3) the easy access to the front desk staff who are always willing to respond to all questions, 4) the wonderful welcome that I receive each time I enter the hotel, no matter what time it is, 5) the excellent food in the dining room; it is beautifully displayed on the plate and its flavor is excellent 6) the incredibly well-informed staff who know just about everything about Den Bosch, and if they don't know, they will research it and get back to you. It is for all of these reasons, as well as the obvious effort from the staff, that I enjoy staying at the Golden Tulip Hotel Central.I Would not stay at any other hotel in the city.

Hotel management must be doing things right because staff is professional yet friendly. A nice touch was the birthday greetings and chocolate I received during my stay. By the way, I noticed the panorama photos in the corridor between the restaurants and the lobby and asked one of your staff at reception if it would be possible to obtain a copy, particularly of the top one, photographed in 1936. My father was a press photographer at Pers Bureau Het Zuiden and he told me a long time ago that he took the photograph. My family would be pleasantly surprised if we could receive a copy.

The room design was inviting, but the view was a brick wall.
